Hello guys, I am currently building a semi-planted geo tank.

Tank measurements are 150 cm x 60 cm x 70 cm.

My current filters are is a 40 gallon sump that turns over around 600 gallons/hour and a Jebo 829 canister.

My stocking plans are 5-8 Geo Red Heads, 6-8 Angels, and maybe some tetras, 3 BN plecs and some bottom feeding cats. Can you tell me if this is a good stocking plan and maybe recommend some good tetras that a) does not become snacks for either cichlids, b) does not nip the fins of said cichlids and c) make a nice schooling fish.

Will corys get attacked by either geos or angels when they breed?

From my experiences geos and plants don't mix and I had a angel with my geos in my 220 and he would get aggresive to them at times not sure how a school would do. As far as Tetras lemons would be my choice and I had corys with them no issues all thought they weren't breeding with enough space I don't see the issue more a issue with the plecos you want in that tank I think they would pose more of a threat

They can eat the eggs or cause the parents to eat them for protection but I have kept smaller plecos and corys in my fry tanks to keep them clean just not with the breeders

I've kept geos and angels together with no problems, probably depends on the individuals, also tank space. But I've had large wild peru angels with geos and they paid little attention to each other, also had domestic (silver) angels with geos (OH tapajos) where the geos pushed the angels around. Breeding pair of angels can get feisty though, and would need enough room in the tank.

Most plecs aren't particularly a threat to the goes directly ime, but some of them can make their eggs disappear overnight.

I've got geo tapajos with angels and plecos. No problem. I can't say you'd keep any fry the natural way in that set up but they will live together no prob. I had corydora in with them before, no problems. It was really nice to look at with the geos and the Cory's there was always lots of movement on the bottom. If you want tetras, any tall bodied tetra will do. I kept diamond. Ornate tetras would look nice maybe, and I think they might be from the same region(correct me if I'm wrong)
