can you let me know which geo's are most common to being the most rare..

also is it worth (4) 5'' geo surinamensis for $100 USD? how big do these grow? i plan to make a geo tank with a 220 perfecto.

Aloha Brudda,
alot of distributors label geo surinamensis when in fact they are altifrons or abalios. true surinamensis have not been imported for many years, nevertheless Altifrons/Abalios are excellent specimens for a geo tank. They can reach 12" so your 220g will suffice. I say get em...I would =)

Not a terrible price, although I'm not sure how inflated the prices are in hawaii.

I would say you have an Abalios. I would pay that price as well.

Looks like a beat up Abalios.. With good care the trailers look amazing on them, and over here those prices are prety good.

I would say getting a true Surinamensis is going to be hard. Other than that, most are readily available, over here atleast (not sure on how things go in Hawaii).

They're a great species though, excellent choice to do a big tank on.
