Does anyone keep Geophagus brasiliensis?
If so what else are you keeping the with and how big are they

I am looking for a few different possibilities to keep with my sevrums and chocolates

Open to any and all suggestions

Even think G. jurapari

No jurapari!!!! Or any other Satanoperca or Geophagus species.

Brasiliensis are far more aggressive than other geo's. To give you an idea, a 4" brasiliensis killed an 8" silversaum GT in one tank of mine years ago. Rough cichlids for south americans.

They can be pretty aggressive. I keep a couple in my mixed SA/CA tank and they hold there own with anything in there. I would think redheads, altifrons, pindares, jurapari, and other more peaceful eartheaters would be better with your sevs and chocolate.
