I've got a pair of brasiliensis that spawn like clockwork in my 125, and I recently added a motoro stingray to the tank so she could grow up a little bit (she's 6.5" disc). Anyway, I had just fed her some earthworms, and she was scooting around looking for a nice place to chill to digest. She decided that the open spot where the geo's were protecting their fry made a good place :screwy:. The geo's don't seem to mind, since she doesn't bother the fry. Just thought I'd take a pic or two to show what I think is darn funny. You can just see the fry hanging out in front of the rays eyes.

No, they had absolutely no reaction to her whatsoever. They vigorously defend the fry against every other fish in the tank, but they ignore the ray like she isn't even there. It's weird.

Lol. Hope they all get along. Looks like a trap... or a sweet bodyguard.

I don't think the ray even realizes that they're fish. It was really funny when the little fry would swim in front of her breathing openings. When she was breathing out they would go flying all over the place.

That's pretty cool. kinda makes me want a ray.

Ha that's great.

Do the other fish seem to stay away more with the ray there? Geos look good.
