it's pretty slow, but they are hardy growers

Slow but steady. Took me 2 years to grow one up to 9". BUT she got up to about 6" in the first year then just grew steadily after that. Oh and she bred once with a black acara...

I have some gymnogeo's that are about 1 month old and they grow slowly... will eat just about anything greta fish... congrats.
