I decided to give geos a try for the time, I picked up 6 geo abalios about a month ago. They range size from about 1.5"-3". Theyre currently in a 75 gallon growout tank running a Rena xp3 and 2 emperor 400 HOBs for filtration. Water changes have been 50% once a week since I got them.

When I got them I informed the guy at the LFS that I planned on growing them out in the 75 and asked what size tank he recommended I upgrade them to in the future. He told me there's no need to upgrade I could fit 15 of them in the 75 comfortably for life. I'm no expert but I'm assuming that's completely wrong.

How long would you pros say I could keep them in the 75? And how big of a tank would you say I should upgrade them to when the time comes?

Thanks in advance

15 Abalios in a 75, he must be insane or just unaware. My abalios grew like weeds and went from 2 to 3 inches to 7 to 9inches in just a few months in a 65 gallon tank. They are in my 240 now and they are my biggest and fastest growing Geo for sure, but probably the least aggressive.
