Geo help. Weird growth

Hey guys, i haven't been around much lately in Mfk but have been dabbling in geos as of late in a 75gal. Filtered with a single fx5. Iv been struggling with hith on a few geos and lost my first last week. I tried everything. Metro+, clean water, salt, different diets. Can't figure it out.

But recently one of my geos has gotten this growth on the side of him. It's gotten worse in the past day or two. Any idea what it is and plan of attack to take on it? I'd love to save him.

Could be just about anything...I can't tell from the pics, if you could get a closer one though I know its not easy to, but as a general rule I'd QT him and dose the tank with salt and something wide spectrum like general cure.
