Seen this in a friends tank bought under the usual Suri label Its a lot more yellow in the flesh and it has the black line coming down from the eye. Thought it might be Taeniopareius

Difficult to say.... If you are sure it is not surinamensis, it could be taeniopareius, grammepareius, harreri or argyrostictus. There is young fish at the picture to decide.

yes that is a geophagus taeniopareius.
