Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was a surinamensis. But altifrons are really good looking too

First one looks like to be a Geophagus steindachneri. Red hump Geo. I have one and looks exactly like your. Second is a Altifrons from the looks.

^ this is correct although I will say the second is a bit small to say for sure. A little time/size and it will be easy to ID.
