I bought a group of 6 when they were 2” big a month ago and they doubled in size since. They were sold to me as “ wild caught pellegrini “ which is obviously not the case, but I don’t regret buying them. They are super active and crazy aggressive eaters.
So... are they winemilleri, sveni or something different?
Thanks

The lack of a cheek marking and the bifurcated bars would indicate that they're likely G. abalios.

Both G. abalios and G. altifrons are commonly exported from Colombia, and usually sold as G. surinamensis (which is from Suriname, not Colombia, and is also not in trade in most countries). Never seen them sold as pellegrini, though. That's not even in the same group of geos.
