I neep help to find out what kind of geo the big one is and what the max size will be.

And i also picked up these two little geo's and wondering if there fins will grow back ? Sorry for the bad pics

The top picture is a male Gymnogeophagus balzanii. The others look like young Geophagus altifrons but hard to tell since they are small and beat up. Good luck with healing them up!

The first one is a gymnogeophagus(dont know which one). The little one look like tapajos but had to say for sure when small and fins are shredded(should heal just fine).

Just so you know gymnogeophagus balzani need a cool down period if not It can cause them to have a shorter life and death the smaller ones are most likely altifrons or abalios kind of difficult to tell but with clean water constant water changes and good quality diet they do heal up fairly quickly a little salt never hurts either keep temp around 80 to 82 they will be fine

How long have they been in the tank? They look a bit stressed. The top is definitely a male Balzani, Gymno a South Amercian fish. It does require a temporary cool down period. The others could be a number of Geo's, not Tapajo tho. Could be brasilienses, surinamensis, altifrons, abalios , etc. As they grow and color up and their heads take structure you'll be able to notice. You have some large substrate. They are sand sifters as are the gymnos, your Balzani. They like to sift the sand for food that is their primary eating habits. If you have large substrate you leave them susceptible to injuring their gills as they sift the sand through their gills. If you intend on keeping the fish I would consider going with pool sand for substrate and possibly reading on the Balzani and it's cool down period. Good Luck! The Geo and Gymno species are a great fish and aoffer tons of color and personality to any tank.
