I have been planning out a 50L planted tank to move my breeding group of bolivian rams into and was wondering if my geo. jurupari would work out in this tank also. The jurupari is only about 1 1/2" right now so i know it would work for now but he's my first Geo. so I not sure on adult jurupari attitude.

Yeah, every jurupari I've owned has been a sweetheart. I was thinking of doing a community tank with a school of them. The larger they get, the more beautiful they are!

the substrate is either going to be playground sand and pool filter sand mixed or black crystal quartz t grade. The bolivians are currently on playground and wont stop breeding so i may just stick with that.

is there any chance i could also add a couple geo. altifrons to the mix or would they cause problems? They just look so awesome, if it wont work i may just have to set up yet another tank.. oh well :)

yeah 50 long, just did the research i should have done before asking that last question, had no idea altifrons got so large. Well time to finally get the big tank then... would a 120g work for say 6 altifrons?

yeah the tapajos are also very nice. either way i'm just getting ahead of myself, I already have 3 tanks just being started and 12 more on racks to complete the fish room...
