geo "pimple"

One of my red caps has what I can best describe a pimple. Her behavior and colors are normal and one of them had the same thing in the fall. Both times only one fish and only one "pimple" and never any change in coloration or behavior. Has anyone else experienced this?

well i thinke i had this with one on my pbass near its but but i dont know what it is from i did water changes like crazy and cleaned the fililter but it showed up agin then i moved him and a coupel weeks later he is ok what color is it and where is it

Its white and just behind the spot on her side

mine was white toi just cant think why the cause is

If it has come and gone in the past it may be nothing to worry about much. I keep 9 of the same geos as in your avatar and have yet to have it with one. I have however gotten it on my severums on occasion and doubling up on water changes during that week and adding salt and its gone in a couple short days. Do you use UV?

No uv, not worried since it doesn't appear to be affecting the fish but curious. Wondering if fish may get a scale issue similar to ingrown hairs?
