I would guess 5 inches or so he hasn't grown much lately. I think he might be maxing out

Nice fish! Geo. steindachneri are very underrated, in my opinion.

I have one that is about that size or maybe a little bigger. I think they definitely slow down growth at this point, it would be interesting to see what size they can max out at.

I had a monster male redhump he was bout 7" with a big nuchal hump. he had 3 ladies all to himself that produced like clockwork. lemme see if I can dig up a pic... found a couple when he was near max size, but his hump got much bigger and redder... my crappy pics don't do him justice...lol

I just got mine this weekend he is only about 2 1/2 inches right now, he is with 3 fem.. I'm really glad I made the choice to go earth eater!!!
