Saw six Geo. Surinamensis at local PetSmart for $5.99/each. Thinking about getting them. I'm replacing my gravel with balck tahitian sand. Do they dig alot?

they do not dig in the sense that they make mounds like many other cichlids. they take a mouth full of sand and spit it out. they do not make mounds. just sift.
Thanks gseith & jworth. I picked up two 3" geo. surinamensis at PetSmart. Going to let them grow in my 240 gallon tank.
