Geo Sveni growth rate

I was looking to pick up some of these at 1" right now, what kind of growth rate should I expect with them? I have a 125g for them eventually, but would rather growth them out in my 45g for now. How long should I plan on keeping them in the 45? The last time I had eartheaters they grew insanely slow and couldn't compete for food unless I carpet bombed the tank for them to sift through.

Any other advice about keeping Sveni or Geos in general is greatly appreciated, or if you have any suggestions for a more permanent stocking for a 45g I'm all ears because the dimensions on this tank is really limiting for keeping something interesting.

Mine were listed as 1" and came in under that. Less than a year old, now, the largest one's probably 5.5 inches, more or less a similar growth rate to other geos I've had. Mixing geos with mid water to surface feeders, or species that aren't overly rambunctious has worked for me to get them fed without any problems.
