I am new to South American fish.... I just started keeping Geophagus a month ago.
I purchased 2 pair of WC Geo. Winemilleri from Jeff Rapp.
After feeding blackworm for two weeks straight along with sinking pellets and flake food,
tonight I saw a pair guarding eggs that were laid on a cave.....
1: Will the parents protect the eggs once they hatched (other types of Geos in the tank) ?
2: Does the female hold the young her mouth ? if so I would like to catch her and put her
into another tank.
Like I said I am just starting out with South American and specializing in Geophagus....
(no books available .... not paying $300.00+ for a book... that is fish money
)
