Geophagus Altafrons fry

Hi im jus wondering if anyone has some information out there on Altafron fry. I curently have them in a 10g be low by 180g they still have yolk sacs but are free swimming, i would say there are 200- 500. I have read up on them but i just want more information. 10 Acarichthys heckelii 4 close to a foot long,3 amazing looking altafrons and one foot n half silver arowana. Ill post pics soon.

Good luck! Wait a few days before you feed. They will eat their yolksack....

Bigspizz is right. Then you can feed them any fry food. BBS, Hikari 'First Bites', etc. I've never tried the gel from wardley but it is worth a shot.

Thanks guys I found a great food called cyclone, its a frozen food n is great. I have noticed that couple of my guys might have white spot so im just treating them right now n ill post pics in a day or so when cleared up.

congrats! Do you know what sort of altifrons they are?

Did you strip the parents yourself or wait till they swam out of the parents mouths to net them?
