Geophagus Altifron growth rate

Hi all
Picked up myself 6 altifrons at the weekend. Around 1" big. What is the growh rate of these guys?
They are in the sump as they are too small to go in the big tank. 600 gallon volume with drip water change so they have good conditions and all the food they want. I am hoping they are fast growers. Most things i have put in this system have doubled in size very quickly.
 
With a lot of food and super clean water they'll grow to 3-5" and beyond very quickly.
 
Took mine a little over a year to go from 2.5"-3" to 8"-10"(the 10" one was the alpha male, a very fast growing individual). Mine were the normal altifrons, not the orange head or tapajaros varieties which seem to grow a bit slower.

Just got my altifrons about a month ago and they have put on a lot of noticeable size and eat like pigs non stop. Got them around the 2.5 inch range and they're pushing 3.5 inches now and coloring up real nice. Wish my pinstripe dambas grew that fast haha
 
Quick update. Had them 2 weeks now kept in a lit sectioned area in the sump. Taken a while to settle so just put a bit of wood in for them to hide around. Just found out today how much they like raw prawn and mussel. If you not done it already, try it. They love it! Expecting some quick growth rate now.
