I have seen a lot of pictures of geophagus altifrons with cardinals and neons in the tanks. How does this normally work out? I have a 5 inch geo and wanted to combine it with my 1 inch ebjd grow outs but don't know if this is too risky.

They aren't all out predators, but like most fish they will gladly swallow a small enough fish should the opportunity present itself.
