Geophagus Altifrons Breeding?

I have some Altifrons, that I managed to get a clip of them acting strange, is this breeding behavior or are they just addressing dominance?

I think it's a dominance thing. I have 4 Altifrons. I've seen them lip lock and also flare they're gills out at each other. Mine have been doing this for about 2 months now. I haven't seen anything yet. So yeah I would think it's a dominance thing.

Maybe someone could shed more light on the subject than me

Yeah, well I did some research, only to find a video of this exact behavior to be breeding and dominance... so I dont know.

They are to small to breed, and it looks more like dominance

they need to be much larger to breed, they will be sexually mature anywhere around 6" and only once they get the long streamers on their fins. goodluck
