Still trying to decide what to do with my 125, but now it holds a group of G. altifrons (3m1f) and a few other random fish. The female G. altifrons spawns once every 2-3 weeks but I never saw any fry. Finally got them on video and now I know why - the dominant male doesn't seem to know what he's supposed to do. May have to take him out next time to give the other two guys a chance.

EDIT: I don't actually know the locality of these fish. Calling them "Manuas" but it's just a port...

These are some seriously beautiful fish! I don't know what your plans are for the tank but I would really focus on the Manuas and stock accordingly around them. Very Nice!

Thanks! I'll either keep them there or use the tank for a group of Geophagus brachybranchus that are growing fast. If only I had a basement :(

what size are those guys? 8" or so? big geos are impressive as heck. i love them!

my largest daemon is around 6" now... and man, what a stunner! big geos FTW! woohoo!

Those are some serious monster geos! I could not tell in the first video anything about their size, but the angel that moved in later gave me a relative size. I am assuming that's an adult angel?

The geos also have some nice pattern going on on their body. Very beautiful fish indeed. I also love the rocks.

I think they are pushing 10". Definitely the biggest Geo I've kept so far.

Yes there are some adult angels in the tank. I got them just to fill the top of the tank but they have been breeding like rabbits...
