I really like how this shot came out. I used no flash and was able to capture his true colors. Let me know what you think.

how on this watery earth do you get pics like that? mine always come out blurry or with a reflection.
Any tips??

Thanks. It's a 18-55mm lens, with settings of ISO 800, f/3.5, and shutter speed of 1/20th.

Thanks. I'm a beginner myself, but the best advice I can give to you is to be patient. I was sweating bullets trying to stay absolutely still to get this shot. It took me over 10 attempts, and various different settings to get this relatively nice shot.

i've the same kind of fish but can't really id it. looks definitely the same but it's just the color. more of teal than red really. can someone help me? very nice fish pic by the way.
