Geophagus and Mesonauta growing tank

Don't know what kind of advice you are seeking, but they look good, and you seem to know what your are doing. Of course they could soon be too many and too territorial, but Ok for now.

Love it!! Great combo. I keep the same right now and love the interaction. One thing to watch out for as they grow , the mesonauta will pair off and spawn at some point, and a dominant pair will make life a living hell for any other mesonauta if your tank isn't big enough. I had 6 growouts in a 4'x2' 120 gal and I had to thin them out to a single pair. That pair spawns at least once a month.

I hope to get a pair too. I thought Mesonauta would need less space... I'll consider a tank upgrade. Thanks for your comment
 
i poured sand over my gravel for my geo growouts to sift through and it looks allot better now plus it doesnt trap waste between the cracks.
