My lfs had a set of geophagus balzani, 1 male with a nice hump on his head, and three females. The price was 99.99. Is that a good price for them, i was thinking about getting them and trying to breed them. Im not sure on the difficulty of breeding them. Any help will be appreciated.

Over here that would be a great price for 4 Gymnogeophagus balzanii - not too sure about American prices as I'm sure they're much more readily available.

Honestly, some will say that is too much, but in my eyes, that I would pay for a nice Harem of proven Balzanii. IMHO...

its ok, i make that mistake all the time, i think they were like 3-4 inches, but what size tank would i need to keep them housed for life?
