Hey guys, I'm posting for Ghage. His computer isnt available right now. So he has the opportunity to purchase either a 5" Geophagus Brasiliensis or 8"-10" Petenia Splendida. The fish will be going into his 215 gal tank, which is mostly peaceful. Any input as to which fish is preferred and which will fit into this setup the best will be greatly appreciated.

Exactly what kind of fish are in the 215. Snooks are more aggr. than the Geo and can get big-big appettite and predatory. I have had my a little over 2 months he was aorund 2 inches and is now close to 5.

Geophagus Brasiliensis from what i have heard isn't a typical geo the males can be quiet aggressive. I think a snook would be more passive then the Geo. Also Geos tend to do better in groups. As long as the tank was 2' wide i would go with the snook.

Depends... is the snook the natural and in my opinion the better looking or the red one? If its the natural go for it.
