Geophagus brasiliensis

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i dont think they will either.

i had 5 brasiliensis in a 110 when they were 3" apiece and they were with full grown pair of oscars and other miscilaneous cichlids. they did more than hold there own so i wouldnt bet on it. plus they get bigger.

i have one with 3 pelligrini and 1 topoja.rays. n rays. no problems he is the biggest in the tank. got him with the other geos off some one already big so idk but it works for me

I had a 4" brasiliensis take out a 8" silversaum GT ... so no, I wouldn't mix them with true geo's or Satanoperca.

i may be experienced with other fish but um i have a geophagus and i am dumb with it some suggestions please oh um its pretty cute

I have tried other Geos with my 6" Brasiliensis and he chases them non stop to the point where i have to get rid of them.

He also killed my 6" Hecklii.

Hes fine with any other cichlid in my tabk tho!

I have a surinamensis with my brasiliensis and they get along great, actually. I've never had a problem. Although my brasiliensis is only about 3-4 inches and my surinamensis is probably around 5-7 inches. They're pretty much inseparable..

I had my G. Brasil with to 2 G. Abalios and 3 S. Leucostica without any issues. But yes
can be a little more aggro than typical eartheaters. So it is a crapshoot with the individual
Brazil personality wise.
