since yesterday my geophagus have been digging a big hole to the bottom of the tank and they are protecting it not very aggressively they allow other fish to swim around some times... but I haven’t seen any eggs or breeding Behaviour is there anything wrong with them trying to lay eggs on the bottom of the tank and there is something that I can out them inside to help them better for the place to lay the eggs?

Personally wouldn't do anything. They chose that area and probably will be laying eggs there. Do you see the tubes down on the male and female?

Agree with Tom, by trying to "do something" you could mess it up..
They will probably lay eggs there, and when ready to hatch, they will carry the fry in their mouths for a while.
What you could do, (if you can do it without creating havoc), is remove all other fish (except the pair) to another tank. Especially if there are Plecos, because plecos will eat the Geo eggs at night while the Geo's sleep.
And once the Geo fry are free swimming, the other fish in the tank will try to eat the fry.

I see tubes down but I see also in every other geo I have this size... tomorrow I’m going to buy a thing that separates the tank and I’m gonna leave only the parents
