Geophagus Columbia/Venezuela tank mates?

Hi,

I am going to get a 285 gallon tank and was planning to get 9 geophagus Columbia/Venezuela and was wondering what other fish would go well with these?

I'm currently thinking of adding geo's to a 190 tank, and I've been recommended to have Nicaragua cichlids as tank mates. They are relatively calm cichlids and go well with geo's. Angel fish wouldn't be bad either.
