Found these on crush let guy said its male and female 7 and 5 inches they have layer eggs but male always eats them wants 40.00 worth a shot ?? Was going to buy them and put them in my 125 gallon african tank

African tank? What species of African fish? Probably not such a great idea, unless fish in your 125 are pretty small and/or easy going. Most geos would not fair well in a tank with African cichlids. Also, $40 for the pair would be a but rich IMO, and $40 each would be crazy high in these parts.

I have some obs and other peackocks ... I've seen them full grown in some stores going upwards of 80.00 each

like RD said I would not mix them with Africans. differant water requirements plus I would think the Africans would bully the geos.

I think if your plan is to bred them, forget housing them with a bunch of africans. As far as price, that would be pretty standard here.
