I bought two Geophagus Dictozoster today, a male about 5" and a female about 4". Now I don't know how aggressive they are towards each other, they have been rather peaceful towards each other.. There are 3 females left at the LFS. Would it be better if I would get more to spread any aggression (if there is any?). These are gorgeous fish and I would love to get more just because of that, they are rather expensive though, so I probably won't get more for now if it's not preferred.

It's always a good idea to have more when it comes to most Geo's. I think picking up 2 more females would do you good. That way the male would be able to spread his aggression around.

Thanks, then I will get more. They share a tank with an 8" oscar and a small pair of Fm's.. Do you think the oscar could be trouble in the future?
Also, aren't the geos rather slow growers?

They are relatively slow growers, compared to Oscars. In the right size tank, I don't see the O as a problem, aside from it out competing the Geo's for food. The Fm's may harass them a bit, and nip at they're trailers/tails.

Thanks, it's good to hear that the o won't be a problem. I'm not worried about the fm's doing any real damage..
