Geophagus ID pls

I bought a few last August. They were listed as geo Surinamensis which I know are very rare in the U.S. I believe they are geophagus abalios. They were about 1.5" when I got them. Now they are around 4"

How big to abalios max out? I've read 5" to 6" on some websites and others say as big as 10"

With proper care they can get massive, 10”+. I’ve seen altifrons at an LFS that were raised by one of the employees in a 300 gallon tank, and they were almost as long as my forearm. Before that I thought the size listed for them was a myth. I don’t know how long it takes to attain that, and if all abalios/altifrons will. I’m assuming they may average out to about 8”.
