Few quick pointers that won't be covered in most profiles.
- Eartheaters are a social species, they will always do much better in groups of 4+
- They will always do better with sand substrate.
- They shouldn't be kept with boisterous or aggressive cichlids, even if they 'survive'.

Hi there... As well as CF, Jepps Rapps (TangledUpInCichlids) has some really good pics and info... If you have any specific questions both this site and CF have quite a few knowledgeable addicts... come on admit it... no need to name names... youall know who you are..
