Hi,
I have 4 Geophagus megasema that i have been raising up for about a year and they are now around 4" in a 75 gallon. They look like 2 males and 2 females. I am curious if i should separate them into pairs or keep them together to maximize their chances of breeding. Thanks.

I would keep them together. There is no value in separating. The only separation I would consider (if it were my stock) is removing one male down the line. Would love to see some pics of these beauties if you're willing to share

image1.JPG image2.JPG Thanks for your thoughts. Attached are a couple of photos. I think they have a ways to go before they are breading size, but I notice the larger male chasing the other male and want to avoid fin damage.
