Are the Pells? I picked the two dominant ones in the tank. I think the rest may have been females, there were 5 left or so. Are Pells really that rare if these are them?

The fish looks young so it is hard to tell. Pells are rare and do look a lot like stienies or crassilabris.
Maybe someone who knows more about geos could help?

I've only seen a few on here. They are the most beautiful of the 3 red hump eartheaters. Stienies are the smallest and most common.

Have to agree with new world, even young u can tell pelligrinni from stiendachneri once you have seen them in person, most have never seen pelligrinni in person so its hard to tell.
they are rare,i believe there are only a few of us on here who actually have them, myself, newworld, and a few people i sold to at the aca.
I have a breeding colony and the next time they spawn i will be glad to send you a few fry, just keep in touch an i will keep you updated.
