Geophagus Pellegrini

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Had them around 10 years ago, easy to breed less aggressive then Steindachneri I found them easy to keep in a colony with multiple males without much aggression....a few years back a hobbyist was selling fry for around $20, yes they were pellegrini..

any pics/videos?

Sorry... yes, I ordered two males, and they look great! Colored up nicely shortly after going in the tank. I cannot wait to see these guys mature.

I do plan to take pics, but at the moment, I have one burned out light and one very bad light on the tank. I can get pics, but feel they won't be very flattering. I am upgrading lights to this tank and a few others over the next month or so. Once I get the new lights on, I will get some quality pics up. Promise! But these wild caught males from Rapps look great! They are in a 220 with a small group of suranimensis, severums, sunshine pleco and a few other fish.
