geophagus red head tapajos

I'm thinking of doing a geophagus red head tapajo only tank. How aggressive are these guys? And how big can they grow in your home aquarium?

They dont get nearly as big as some of their cousins, average in the 5 to 6" range. I do believe peathenster has an 8" but that is rare! They are not very aggressive. They will chase each other but nothing major.

You guys just convince me on getting a group, now where can I find some?

Getting a group is definitely a good idea. They are supposed to be more comfortable that way, which is hard to prove, but it definitely spreads out the aggression. Maybe I should start breeding them again....

Any good place I can grab a group of juvi?

First ask your lfs to see if they can get them in and if not look online (mfk classifieds, mfk vendors, aquabid, etc.)
