Geophagus redheads spawning!

My pair of newly acquired redheads spawned today. Caught them in the act! So excited!!

Nope they didn't. Only had them for 2 weeks.

Did you make notes of your water parameters, and temperature of aquarium water good food and cooler wc water may have triggered the spawning.

No I didn't. My tank temp is 78 and I've been feeding frozen bloodworms with sinking pellets 2x a day. I've never used a test kit and don't own one. Did a 30g water change on last Sunday and it's due for another wc tomorrow.

Don't change the routine, everything is just right for them.
