I was just looking over some information i found on Cichlid-forum, in regards to some Geophagus species. I got some Geo fry way back when, and one turned out to be a Dicrozoster, and the other i thought was an Altifrons, but was never 100% sure about any single species. Now Im thinking the Geo in question, could be a Geo. Tapajos II.

Well now i see the pictures and info in this link below and Im not sure. The maximum size for the Geophagus Tapajos II says 7". My Geo in question has stopped growing, since he reached the 6ish" mark, and hes in a 120G (4x2x2).

Can anyone tell me for sure what species of Geo, MINE is?? Here are some pictures.

Thank you.

The Tapajos II, seem to have more striped designed tails, than spotted, like mine...

PS last pic is a Geo Tapajos II from Cichlid-forum.com
