Geophagus Steindachneri fry

My Geophagus steindachneri has had little ones and are both in a 10 gallon tank. When should I pull the mother out? The fry have been out of her mouth now for 5-6 days now. I've been feeding them powdered fry food.

if they are free swimming then pull the female out.

I pulled her out and put her back in the her main tank (75 gallon).The dominant bull male sorta freaked when I put her back in and he seems a bit "in the mood" shall we say. He's going after another female and follows around the original mother that had the fry.
