They are pretty angry to be honest. Mine are in with some similarly sized mesoheros gephyrum and they push them around except for the largest one.

How about keeping them in a large group? Don't they establish hierarchys with one dominant male? I can't remember.

I have heard that, but I only have the pair. I am growing out 8 or so offspring from them in hopes of keeping a group though.

Nice pair. I kept a lone male with some mildly aggressive CA/SA's for years, found him to be a very agreeable fish. And they certainly have a unique look.
