So I have 8 geophagus sveni in my current 135g set up. Do they enjoy strong current or do they prefer something more calm? I can't seem to find anything on this. I have a powerhead in there now that pushes current/co2 aroubd the tank for my plants but just curious if they enjoy stronger water or more calm

Incorrect for sveni and some of the other more common geos, a misconception some came to after watching the video. If you watch the entire video, the "high bodied" species (includes sveni) do not live in rapids. Quote at about 0:47: "Usually the high bodied species (includes sveni) occur along the beaches in the slack water zone and the more slender species (including agyrostictus, herrrari, etc.) are reophiles that live direclty in the rapids."
That said, ime sveni are fine with moderate water movement in a tank, but don't overdo it thinking they live in the rapids.
