So I have a group of 5 geos , young about 2 inches in my 135 gallon planted tank. Along with 1 severum. Everything was going good. All the water parameters test fine. PH is little high at 7.4ish. They were all active, going through substrate acting normal. I went to the store abs got a dual air pump/air stone to have more surface agitation and get more oxygen in the water and it seems things somehow went to hell. One does not seem to be interested in food at all and is just swimming/hanging on the sand. The others ate but seem to be doing the same thing. Just done seem normal to me?

My question is, is it possible two air stones are to much oxygen? I'm kinda at a lose here?
Or is this nornal behavior? It looks like they are breathing a little heavy, which is why I added it in the first place.

Ammonia was at 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates are <10
And PH 7.4

They sound spooked, possibly. Could be the new noise or simply the fact you were messing around in the tank. If it was me I'd try removing the air stones and see what they do. (personally, I prefer wave makers for surface agitation)

Geo sveni are perfectly comfortable at pH 7.4 pH. (I've had multiple groups of sveni)

...Or just give them some time to get used to the tank changes.
I feel terrible for spooking them! I just wanted them to get more oxygen. I left it in there and see if they adjust, if they don't or gets worse I will take it out and just move my power head to the top of the tank and use that

Can't be helped sometimes. Ime sveni are puppy dogs for food and if they get a little spooked and don't get over it quickly, oftentimes you can bring them out of it by skipping a feeding or two or even skipping a day, etc. so they get good and hungry, then feeding a food or treat they like. It's not punishing them and really doesn't hurt them, it's that sometimes a well fed fish can be a complacent fish. :)

They really are like dogs with food, specially my severum, I can't slowly walk past the tank without them , noticing me and harassing me for food. It's so funny. I'm going to skip a meal tonight and feed them tomorrow and see how they do!
