Geophagus tapajos?

Was just able to pick up 3 of these beauties. I got two female and one male with the three be happy in my 55g tank along with three angels. Everything will be going into a 125g in the near future. This is their tank now.

The 55 will be OK for awhile until dominance from male, and female when they pair off.:) the 125 would hold them including the Angel's for life. My favorite Geo.:)
 
Yea the 55 will get real small once they pair off, I found the most aggression was between males with mine. How big are they now?
 
I would say the male is close to 4 inches and the two females are 3 inches. I got 2 last week and yesterday I got the other female cause they told me they were getting more in. So the 2 I had in the tank for a week already are just feeling out the new one I put in yesterday.
 
Very nice 55 set up.

If you are questioning whether you have tapajos or something else, try to get some close up pics, and the forum members can definitely help point out the species for you.
 
No they are tapajos know for a fact. Got a decent size stock in this tank right now but I'm doing 2 50% water changes or larger a week now.
