I know these two fish coexist in the wild, but I'm guessing not in peace. Has anybody kept them together with success? The one in my LFS lives in a 75 gallon mbuna tank.

Should be fine together. Just keep the tank with decor/wood/plants to keep the geos interested.

Very interesting idea. I hear they are difficult to get off of live food which may make things difficult. Either way, I look forward to seeing this if you do decide to move forward.

Can be broken off on prepared foods but not difficult. It would be easier with a trainer fish. One that takes prepared foods easily and the cudas will copy eventually when hungry enough.

Do the Cuda generally ignore other fish too large to swallow?

You got it!

I think it may depend on how aggressive the geos are... But it'll 95% of the time work very well IMO got my friend to try the comm he has 2 satanoperca daemon earth eaters (stunning fish Btws) with his acestrochynus pantaniero no problem at all.
In regards to breaking aces off live they're more difficult than Atf and even payara his scomb is on pellets while his ace is still on live. It looks awesome though would reccomend

I keep two acestrorhynchus Falcatus with 3 geo's and I've never had a problem.
