I am looking at setting up a 210g (72x24x30) pseudo bio-tope. Can geos and discus peacefully coexist in a tank this size?

I'd suggest the smaller, more peaceful Geos. Feeding is definitely the main concern. Discus tend to graze food and take their time eating compared to other cichlids. If you can work it out so that the discus are getting enough food then it should be fine.

It can be done with no problems, but listen to Peter.
I had this problem with this combo only because the geos ate the discus food.

Good luck.

It can be done, sure. But Discus do best by themselves. Make sure the Discus are a hell of alot bigger than the Geos. Just to give em a fighting chance. Since the Geos will eat most of the Discus food you will find yourself feeding more to accomodate them. And this in return will spoil the water just enough to sour the Discus while the Geos will not be effected. Discus are Cichlids themselves and are durable to a point. But definetly need more attention than any other Cichlid we keep. Good luck Monsta.
