Hi there. As many of you know I am trying to turn my sev 120gallon tank into a sev and geo tank. Thanks for all the feedback regarding that.
I have a question about the substrate.. It is mostly pool filter sand but in about 1/3 of the tank I have eco complete under the sand.. well before the sevs it was under the sand for the plants.. now they have selected which plants they will leave alone and whic get to stay and the ecocomplete is a bit more mixed into the sand. Looks good but I was just wondering if it would be a problem for the geos?? Dion't want to order the guys and then find out they have a problem. There's not a whole lot and it's about a year old. There is no way for me to take it out without a complete redo of the tank and that's not gonna happen any time soon... at least that's the current train of thought.. you know the tank is forever evolving it's never really "finished" LOL.
