Hello all i have a red spotted gold sev, a gold sev , and a green sev might br erocktiel idk how to tell lol looks diff tho i was wondering they are in a 75 gallon tank is there any geophagus that would be ok with them in there or no would i be better off going with some clown loaches just lookin for some action on the bottom of the tank thankyou

you might want to upgrade the tank before adding either. it would work in a 5 or 6' tank

Polypterus senegalus or palmas palmas would get my vote. My tank is just about only sevs and polys and i wouldn't change any of them for anything. Look at the poly section for some snaps...

i agree with Cichlaholics, upgrade first. they are gonna be to the size soon where they can breed and in a 75g with more than one pair of sevs, it will get pretty rough.

forgot to add my sevs are all under 3 inches

then just grow them out in that tank and add the bottom fish once they move to their permanent home

loaches or geophagus jurapari are very timid.I do agree in the long run you will need a bigger tank but you are fine for now.how about some smaller catfish?
