a while back I went to feed my rams. I was like woah..
my beast ram had a huge bump on its head.. with a red spot in the middle
i IMMEDIATELY took it out just in case it was hole in the head..
i took it put it in a 5-gal bucket at about 90 temp. F
plenty of salt
bacteria and fungus meds....
it was a bump not a real impression like most hole in the head but I was worried it was the start
my food is varried for them the color max crumbles deer heart shrimp pellets flakes. you name it..

look at it the scales are starting to like.. fall or something... not good
this is my favorite ram I'll kill a killer HO!!!!
untill it lost its color it was mr color.. dig?

How much salt did you put in your tank? What meds did you use? You are not supposed to dose all meds and salt on your fish without knowing the exact problem. You will only kill it faster than the problem can. It doesn't sound like HITH to me. Keep observing and increase frequency of water changes. What are water parameters of main tank?

Put carbon in your filter to remove the meds and do water changes to remove the salt.

I can't see the pic well enough. They're too blurry but I can only guess it is an injury or possibly bacterial infection. If the wound seems to have white threads around, it is bacterial infection. True fungal infections are rare occurrences. Use Maracyn if bacterial infection is suspected.

no threads and I had him in a bacterial and fungal bath for a week :(
I really don't think its hole in the head..
but I can't nail down what it is!!!

There is a possibility even alphas can eventually go down.

why would you have 3 threads about the same thing. i already tried to help you and if my help wasnt enough just bump your thread.
