So I just got a pair of GBR about a week ago. They are doing great. But after about 3 days in the tank the female laid eggs... Much to my surprise. But it only took a day for them to eat them up. I was wondering how often they lay eggs and fertalize them? Also Any other useful info on them. I will take some pics of them soon.

The tank they are in is a 40gal, and has the 2 GBRs 5 neon Tetras and 2 mollys that are temporary for the tank. because they just had fry and the fry are big are not enough not to be eaten. I have a 30 gallon tank that the molly fry are in.

This is my first pair of rams and so far from my research I have done well by keeping them alive.

Rams are pretty interesting. I bred them a while back using a "cheap method" since I didn't have much cash. I have a blog set up on finsnthings.com. I posted it a few days ago on how I bred them. I'm just too lazy to retype the whole thing. I think overall it cost me around $25. The rams I had laid eggs every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.
